Perumal, yes I create a global value as a default and change during the line evaluation for a new value, works fine.

I assume you want to add the next grid line with one set value to particular field on the next line. In that case you can use two different approach to set Value to specific field.
1.Default property of specific control. Assign the set value to default property of particular control.
2.You can set the value to particular buffer field on Grid line check event.
