I have a requirement to update a field with sharepoint folder path on creation of document location. My custom entity has document management enabled and whenever a folder gets created in SharePoint and simultaneously the document location gets created, a workflow gets triggered and updates the custom entity record with the sharepoint folder path. This was working fine until we've upgraded to CRM 2016. Now what I've noticed is, the workflow is getting triggered and looking for the regarding field in document location and is erroring that regarding record not found to be updated. So, there is some delay in folder creation and my real time workflow is failing to work. I did notice this by deactivating the workflow and making it a background workflow and placing a timeout of 1 minute. This seems to be working as expected(the field is getting updated with sharepoint folder path) but only when I refresh the custom entity form manually. This was not the case before upgrade.
Now, in order to make this work seamlessly like before, what would you suggest me to do? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
