Dynamics GP Posting - Append and Replace

Posted on by 2,485

I have an interesting scenario.  I have Posting set on the Financial...General Entry to Prompt, send to an html file on our network, and Append.  Ever since we upgraded, when the User is posting to the G.L., which calls this report, it prompts as it should, sends the file to the correct location, but it replaces instead of appends - even after making sure that Append is selected instead of Replace.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Yes, they are all set as 1, yet they are overwriting, not appending.

check what's the value in field APNDRPLC.

select APNDRPLC,* from SY02200 where PTGRPTNM='your report name'.

if you have set it for append, the it should be 1.
