Collection and aging

Posted on by 1,290

Dear all,

I can get the payments received from the smart list, receivables transactions, but i want to know each amount collected for which aged period belongs. For example, I want to know the amounts collected this month that belong to 31-60 day when collected or 61-90 days.

Is it possible to get this information?

Best Regards,

You can start with this code, which will show you the transactions each payment was applied to: victoriayudin.com/.../sql-view-with-ar-apply-detail

Then, as Mike said, you need to add a calculation for the aging bucket.

You will need a SQL query for this analysis.

Essentially, you will need to pull the Apply Work/Open and Apply History (where a record isn't in the Apply Work/Open) and then on the Apply To document, manually calculate what aging bucket this should be in, probably a Case type statement, for your cash receipts.
