WE are having an issue changing the pay code on the PTE timesheet. We are getting the message we don't have security to make the change. All employees are set up to allow the change.
Hi All,
There are 2 places that I would check.
1. (Project > Setup > User > Select a user ID > Timesheet button)
See if the USERID in GP has security in Project Accounting to 'Allow change of Pay Code'.
2. (Payroll > Cards > Employee > Project Button > Timesheets button)
See if the employee in GP has the ability in PTE to 'Allow change of Pay Code'.
I hope this helps! If not, then I agree it would be nice to get the exact error message.
