We used Microsoft dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU9 and office 365 and
we tried to integrate of Dynamics AX and Outlook & Exchange
I flow the steps in the below article but unfortunately doesn't work

https://bredetservices.com/blog/outlook-exchange-integration-with-ax-2012-r3/

I do setup as below Pic

noted that last exchange version available in menu is Exchange 2013 !!
Is this mean that I can't make the integration with office 365??
any one can help me.

    Hi Ahmed,

So I was able to repro a similar error, but I've not been able to resolve it. I was also testing against Exchange On-line (O365).

I checked the source code repository for that framework library Microsoft.Dynamics.AX.ExchangeIntegration.Connectio, and the last modifications for that were back in 2016 and were related to on-premises versions of Exchange so 2013 and prior. I've not found any recent fixes that state this works with Exchange On-line (Office 365).

At this stage, I would recommend that you open a support case with the Microsoft Dynamics team and get this investigated further.

    Thanks, Tom

Can you check here > Organization Administration > Setup > Microsoft Outlook or Exchange Synchronization > Microsoft Outlook or Exchange Server Parameters and set the "Program to Synchronize" to "Outlook" and try again?

    Hi Ahmed,

I'm assuming you do have Outlook installed on the same PC as the AX client?

If you do then can you do the following. If you have debugging enabled on that environment, I would like you to go into the AOT and put a breakpoint on the info::add method. If you don't have debugging enabled can you enable it then enable the breakpoint. This will then pop-up the debugger when you get that error, and you can then check the call stack. I would like for you to copy and paste the call stack in here.

Also, if you have Outlook installed can you let me know the version? Also, do you have the 32 or 64 bit version of Outlook?

    Thanks, Tom

    Hi Ahmed,

    Could you try the following:

From the File menu, select Tools > Options. On the Development tab, uncheck the "Execute business operations in CIL"

If that works, then it could indicate you need to perform a clean CIL compile. To do that, please follow the steps below:

    • Stop the AOS service on all AOS servers connected to the environment.
    • Clean all files and folders under the XPPIL folder on the AOS. This is normally located at: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\<AX_Instance_name>\bin\XppIL. If you have multiple AOSs, clean this folder on all of them. It will get refreshed once you start them later.
    • Truncate the SYSXPPASSEMBLY table in the model store database. You can do this from SQL Management Studio with the following command:

             TRUNCATE TABLE SYSXPPASSEMBLY;

    • Start the AOS and client, and then start a full CIL compile. If you have multiple AOS services, only start one at this time.
    • Once the CIL compile is completed, restart the remaining AOS services

    Thanks, Tom

    Hi Ahmed,

Can you explain what you mean with "doesn't work" here? Do you get errors? What is your expectations of the integration?
