70Hello Guys,
I am new to GP, I have a web site where i need to fetch few things from GP like customer, employee with role, company information, and product information . in some case i need to update master records like customer address information etc
problem i am facing are
1) I need to fetch Lot number and Product exp date for a product , i have created product and did PO and do reviving translation it's increase Available QTY . I can fetch Item,InventoriedItem,SalesItem to get product Key, description, stock etc , even warehouse id , but can not get the product lot and it's exp date
2) Role : bit confuse there
a)backoffice role , i get from service but never see those at GP , and what role i found in GP called "Position" which is simple master.
Now question is there any way to assign backoffice role to user/employee? or Position is the role that actually come in action for access level and permission.
Please try to help me via service sample code or direction how to do it in service as i am new to GP so lot's of things unclear to me and getting confuse :(
