Hi.

We are in the process of BC reconciliation and we have one invoice that we need to cancel however, the invoice document is no longer available. How do we go about canceling the invoice?

Payment Reconciliation - Invoices in the Overdue Sales Invoice

You can simply create a Credit Memo and use the needed Item/G/L account that was in the original invoice or just post an opposite entry in General Journal for this Customer (or Vendor). In both cases main thing is to apply it to the original Invoice You want to cancel.
