How can I upload an item created in a Store Operations database to the Headquarters database?

We run Headquarters with four stores. All receiving is done at one store, and inventory is then transferred to the three satellite stores out of the main stores inventory. We do not currently work off of purchase orders, and receive all inventory manually.

We recently purchased Mobile Manager by New West Technologies to run on a Motorola M55 hand scanner to manage inventory. The program syncs up with a store database and updates quantities either directly or by creating an physical inventory count that can then be processed through Store Operations Manager (alternatively, a CSV document can be created that can be imported into a physical inventory count). Quantities are uploaded to Headquarters by issuing worksheet 501 (request full item count) from Headquarters Manager, connecting and processing the worksheet with Headquarters Client at the specific store, and then performing a full item count reconciliation in Headquarters Manager.

When a bar code that is not recognized in the the store database is scanned with the scanner, it prompts you to either assign the item number as an alias or create a new item. Ideally, I would like to conduct all receiving using the scanner  (updating item quantities, creating new items, and creating and assigning aliases when a bar code changes). The main obstacle to this is that I do not see any way of uploading new items or aliases from Store Ops to Headquarters.

If this functionality is not built in (which I suspect it is not), is it feasible to write a script or create a new worksheet based off the download items worksheet (260) and/or upload data worksheet (401) to perform this function?

    It basically not update for that you have to use the third party software like Retail Realm RMS Utility.

    Basicaly if you create the items in SO database then it has SOID it has not the HQID and the RMS is working on ID when you run any worksheet like 250 or 304 and 302 then it update items detail on base of Items ID.

    Each type of database working with any Primary key and in RMS database there is Primary ID is different.

    But to be honest there is no any way or any option to  create item in SO database and update in HQ.

    You must have to use ant third party add-in for that
