We are thinking of implementing Fixed Asset movement registration throgh JIRA.
The scenario is that Fixed Asset card would be created in Dynamics NAV/BC system (on-prem) and after that information sent to our JIRA.
We would like to implement that other users would be able to change field on JIRA ticket - FA Location, and when this field is changed, this change to be updated in NAV 2018 or BC21 system (separate companies, and update would be on the one where the Fixed Asset was created).
From what I understand - if the change will be sent directly to NAV/BC system when a user without NAV/BC license updates the field - it would be a breach of license. Correct? or this applies to other data, like purchase/sales invoice - or other document creation?
If that scenario is breach of license - would it be ok, if on NAV/BC side we would implement a process that executes each 15minutes, to check if the value in NAV matches the linked JIRA ticket number, and if change is encountered, update the value in NAV ? As the process is initiated from NAV side - this doesn't require additional licenses for users who change the value in JIRA ticket?
At the moment we are not using Power-Apps in the company. And maybe someone has already implemented such data exchange and can give some tips?
