I need to know is there any way to get alerts in Home screen in MS Dynamics NAV 2013 R2?
For example, "The stock of 'Item 1' has gone below Minimum Inventory Level of '100 Nos.'

It is not visible in my browsers..
You have to create a batch job to check inventory and run it periodically using job queue or manually and create the record in My Notifications if inventory is low etc.

'My Notifications' can be used for alerts.
Now on question arises, how can we set alert for one item card if the ineventory level gets low..
Use My Notifications on Role center page for this.
Check how entries are created while you have set posting via job queue option and you have any error while posting.
You can create different batch jobs and run then using job queues and create entries in my notifications for alerts
