NAV2016 Installation

Posted on by 582

Hi. We're installing NAV2016 for the first time.  We've installed SQL Server 2014 Express successfully.   We've installed NAV2016 and have created a NAV Service account with all the prerequisite rights.   When we run the client, we get the message "The following SQL error was unexpected: Invalid object name 'dbo.$ndo$tenantproperty'.   This object does not appear to be in Sql server.  Any assistance greatly appreciated.

do you really need tenents ?

if not, best you remove the installed nav and sql server and reinstall the whole system using the dynamics nav setup best with demo mode.

This table is supposed to be within tenant database, and it holds license data.

Please try to upload a valid license file from developer environment. Restart the NAV server instance and try to open client.
