I’m currently facing an issue with Power BI integration in Business Central. The problem started without any recent configuration changes on our end. Below are the details:
Initial Error:
A call to Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.PowerBIEmbedded.PowerBiRestServiceWrapper.UpdateDatasetParameters failed with this message: Operation returned an invalid status code 'NotFound'
After encountering this, I tried resetting all reports for all users, but the issue persists with a new error:
Current Error:
You do not have a Power BI account. If you have just activated a license, it might take several minutes for the changes to be effective in Power BI.
Observations:
However, Business Central still fails to recognize the Power BI account or license, which prevents us from embedding and updating reports as needed.
I would appreciate your help investigating the issue further. Please let me know if you require any additional information, including error logs or session details.
Everything was working fine until this weekend, but still I’m facing the error: "You do not have a Power BI account" in Business Central, despite several attempts to fix it.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
I’ve already gone through the basic troubleshooting steps like reconnecting through Assisted Setup and verifying the license, but nothing has resolved the issue. The common suggestions provided in similar discussions are ones I’ve already tried during my searches. Unfortunately, even the other post in the Fabric forum doesn’t provide a solution—it only hints that there might be ongoing issues.
I do have the option to submit a support ticket now that I have a Pro license. However, I find it strange that Power BI works perfectly fine in both Power BI and Teams, showing the correct BC data. To my knowledge, a Pro license shouldn’t even be required for accessing Power BI reports in Business Central.
Is anyone else facing this issue recently or aware of any workaround? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, good day
I hope this can help you, and give you some hints.
