Hi Team,

We have a payment journal with 1,961 lines, and while generating the payments in Dynamics AX 2012, we encounter an error message approximately 15 to 20 minutes into the process. Please see the attached screenshot for reference.

A work around then is making smaller payment batches. Meanwhile have a developer debug it as suggested by Adis.

Hi,

Accounts payments >Payment journal>click on lines> Functions>Generate payments

Offset account bank , Method of payment "Check"

Small batch of payments (below 900) generating and printing correctly, big batch of payments journal like more than 900 payments we are receiving error.

Fully agree with @Adis, it's though to help without more information.

I assume you are generating a payment file here.

What kind of payment format are you using?

Will it also error out if you create payments for a smaller journal (200'ish lines)?

Error receiving while printing checks in Dynamics ax 2012

Hi,

Its quite hard to figure out what the exact reason is. I can only suggest to take a developer and debug the process.

There is no general answer how to fix this as the reasons can vary a lot.

The error message itself is paradox as it is very clear without being clear, because it says: its a "generic" error.
