We are able to create attachments in the sales orders (with drag and drop)

However, the attachment is place is two places (TAG's?)

We only want the attachment placed in one TAG, in this case only the sales order.
We have to delete manually the customer account tag,

Does anyone have the solution, where to find the settings for this in F/O

    Hi,

This comes from an ISV solution called E-ttach, unless I'm COMPLETELY mistaken.
Your best bet is to check the documentation on Elysian2's page: ettach-faq | Elysian2

Hi there! Good morning, evening, or afternoon - depending on where you are :) Hope you are well today!

Based on your description, it seems that the attachments are being tagged to both the Sales Order and the Customer Account, and you’d like to restrict it to only the Sales Order tag. Here's how you can address this in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O):
    Steps to Configure Attachment Storage
    1. Check Document Management Settings:
      • Navigate to Document Management Parameters in F&O.
      • Review the configuration for Document Types. Ensure that the document type used for attachments is correctly set to associate with only the Sales Order entity.
    2. Adjust Tagging Behavior:
      • In the Document Types setup, verify the Table Reference for the document type.
      • Ensure that the document type is linked specifically to the Sales Order table and not to the Customer Account table.
    3. Test Drag-and-Drop Behavior:
      • After making changes, test the drag-and-drop functionality to confirm that attachments are only tagged to the Sales Order.
    4. Customizing if Necessary:
      • If the default settings don’t allow you to restrict the tags, you may need to customize the behavior using X++ code or extensions. A developer can modify the logic to ensure attachments are only associated with the desired entity.
    5. Clear Existing Tags:
      • For existing attachments, you may need to manually remove the Customer Account tag or use a script to automate the cleanup process.
    hope this helps!
