EFT Remittance Email Report

We are not able to see the email success report when sending an EFT remit to our vendors, which then means we need to check out outbox to confirm if the email was sent successfully.  Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere that enables the email report or is it a security task that needs to be associated with the users?
