Data Entity Numbersequence field value initialization

Hi All,

We have a data entity in which there is a field which will get initialized from number sequence. While importing the data when i check the Auto Generation on wizard the records are getting imported correctly. However, I am checking if i can write a logic to initialize the number sequence field even though Auto Generation is not checked. Can you please share your thoughts on this.

Ok . I understand what you are saying , You can write code in your entity methods where you can generate number sequence for the records you are importing if you don't what it to be auto generated. Try methods like mapentityToDatasource or insertEntityDatasource methods to generate number and see if it helps.

Hi Sukrut,

Yes we are able to generate the number sequence when the check AutoGenerate Check box during the import wizard.However we would like to trigger the number seq automatically without considering AutoGenerate check box.

You can generate number sequence while importing data through entity .Are you facing any issue ?
