MS Dynamics Activity Phone call logging

My company uses Dynamics but after a call when logging it in Activity > Phone call > It just shows the administrators name and 'today' as the date record so it's impossible for the sales team to know when the client was last contacted. Any ideas?

    Hi,

    To get to know the last contacted date, you can try the following approach:

    1. Create a roll-up field of type datetime on the contact entity.

    2. In the roll-up field properties, select Phone call as related entity.

    3. Use  aggregation as Max and select the createdon date field.

    Now you have a field on the contact that will automatically roll up the date of the last phone call.

    As I said, When logging a call the not shows as the administrator with a date when the last update happened therefore, this CRM is ineffective in my eyes,

    Rollup fields allow for aggregation of data from many child records to an eventual Parent record.
