Automatic populate field when new appointment

My users hate that when they want to make an appointment from an opportunity, the field account is not filled. How can I arrange this? I have already tried to create a workflow but unfortunately I cannot get it working. Anyone have an idea?

Hi Oos,

Could you share me how your workflow be set?

Below is mine, and it works fine.

Trigger: when an appointment record is created.

Dynamic value: find regarding opportunity related account.
