How to reconcile Employee ledger entries?

For some reason it's not possible to reconcile bank transactions from Payment reconciliation journal to Employee ledger entries.

I posted an idea about it some time ago, but it still needs votes:

Now I have a customer that is actively using Employee ledger and making payments with Suggest payments to Employees....so that part works well.

But what's the best way to reconcile bank transactions and Employee ledger entries?

In Cash receipt journals I can reconcile Employee ledger entries, but entries to Bank account shall stay open. So a Bank Account Reconciliation is needed to do also...that's double the work and that's not efficient in today's world.

We would like to import bank statement but that works nicely only in Payment reconciliation journal and there we cannot post to employees.... so we're kinda stuck

    Hello,

In Support, I have never had a request like this on how to reconcile the bank ledgers to the employee ledgers, so hopefully someone from the community can help out on that.  Our Product Management group has been very committed to improving the Cash Mgt area, so I will submit internal feedback on this to see if they would be willing to consider the Account Type = Employee as a potential option for the Payment Rec Journal in a future release.
