Provider transformation definition not reflecting on the provider definition in the installed tab

I followed the blog

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/intelligent-order-management/lab-create-intake-provider?source=recommendations to create a new intake order provider definition and when I created a transformation definition, I was able to see the transformation definition in the provider definition present in the library but the same was not reflecting in the installed tab.

Is there any setup I might be missing, Please provide your views on the same

When you Activate a Provider, you are creating an "Instance" of what that provider definition is at that point in time. Further changes to the definition do not reflect in the instance (Installed). You would have to deactivate the installed instance and reactivate it to get the new definition (and transformation you have added).

Thank you for your response,

I tried testing the same by adding a provider parameter and then deactivating and activating the same in the instance. But it didn't work.

Is there any pattern that we might have to follow like deactivating the instance provider first and then creating new definitions or does it work in any way?

I am not sure what process you are following currently but it sounds like you are still trying to just deactivate and activate and installed provider after changing the definition and it is not picking it up.

An intelligent order management you have a provider definition. When you activate this it creates an instance with all the same logic definitions, transformations, parameters, etc at that time. If you make further changes to the provider definition you have to remove the installed provider by deactivating it and deleting it and then reactivating from the provider definition in the library in order for those changes to reflect
