Hi, 

  I am trying to install CRM 2016. I am getting the following error.

    Reporting services is installed through SQL, not crm, that is what it is trying to connect to.

    Main things to check:

    • Is the url correct for the reportserver component of SQL Reporting Services
    • Is reporting services configured and running
    • Are there any firewalls that might be blocking the traffic

    A simple test would be to try and browse to the given url from the machine you're running the setup on
