The easiest way would be to use the "Web Services" and within there you have links you can use to grab the data into Excel and can create reports/analysis from there. Using excel and Data > Get Data you can drop the link in and connect to the information.
One issue i have found is i was using the "Sales Dashboard" however that reports posted sales as opposed to posted invoices so the data was not 100% accurate for what i needed.
Also you could use Power Bi but i'm not too familiar with that myself and requires additional licencing.
What i did in the end is used our web developer to create a report dashboard for us to connect to Business Central to report the "Invoiced Sales Lines" for our sales analysis and we then add in our monthly targets etc
