Can you back date a lead once created?

Posted on by 120

In our organization, we often have events with potential clients invited.  However, we have run into a problem of getting the attendees into our CRM 2011 in a timely manner.  This means that potential clients we met in October are being recorded as new leads in November.

Basically, my question boils down to... is there a way to go into the CRM and change the "Created On" date to an earlier month?

    Richard,

It's been a while since working with CRM's import tools, but I don't think you have access to the "Created On" date.

Another option would be to create a "Met On Date" or some other kind of date and trigger your workflows or other requirements on "Created On" off of the new field.

You may have better luck posting this in the CRM forum though.
