Hi I asked this question before but hoping someone out there could answer my question. We retail uniforms and when we do group orders we scan everything in the point of sale so not to make an error on the quantity and so on. Though some of these orders will have multiples of the same items it all goes to a separate line making a receipt that is to long, what we would like is that when we scan the item that it would scan to the line that has the same item and keep adding up quantities for that line. Is RMS capable of doing this?

Some amendments to the Receipt XML could achieve this.

The items in the transaction cannot be retrieved in sorted order so the XML would have to iterate through items looking for next lowest ItemLookupCode and counting matches before printing each unique ItemLookupCode.
