Client receives POs and posts them in one company with no problems. Then in another company using the same id and the same assigned security
roles, the user gets the error 'Not privileged to run this report'. I have checked modified reports and the security is turned on.
It seems this started after the role Operations Manager was added to the user who already was assigned the roles Warehouse Manager and Shipping and Receiving. I do not see any difference between the security assigned to this user. It is also happening with another user who performs similar tasks in GP 2013.

Best thing to do is run a Dexsql.log. With the error on the screen the last call should be on the SY10000 table. You then can use the information in the following KB Q4:
951229 Frequently asked questions about role-based security in Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 and Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010
mbs.microsoft.com/.../KBDisplay.aspx;EN-US;951229
There should not be any problem with assigning more than one role to the user, such as operation and warehouse manager.I have always used these predefined roles with each other with no associated problems at all.
Is it possible that any of these roles have been modifier ? Any security tasks have been omitted from any of them ?
I believe you need to go a little more deeper and check the security tasks associated with this user regardless of the role. After all, the role is nothing but a categorization for a whole list of tasks.
