Buying Price Digit - VS Code

Hello,

My purchase order template display only 3 digit however i'd need 4.

Does anyone know where in VS code i can add one more digit to my purchase order report buying price ?

Can you show in screen shot where you want to show 4 digits and report is showing 3 digits.

Hi,

You need to update the decimalplaces property of this textbox. Open report layout and then open textbox properties of this. In Number change the decimal places to 4. Like in image below:

You can see the changes.

I'm using BC cloud, I don't see how to reach it

Hi,

No issues. We are here for the purpose to learn together so no shame in asking.

To make this change you need to do customization in report. Make a copy of this report and then do change in that.

About reports in Business central:

There are two parts of report in Business Central. One is dataset and other is Layout Design. Dataset is the data that is taken and from tables and/or is calculated using formulas in code. Dataset is designed in AL using VS code. Then comes Layout design. Two types of layouts are available inside Business Central. One is RDLC and other is Word Layout. Same dataset can be used to generate layouts in RDLC or Word. The report that you are using has RDLC layout. So to change that you need Report Designer as well.

If you are not a developer then its little difficult for you. Which version of Business Central are you using and if it is SaaS or On-Prem.
