Direct Delivery POs created when Sales order not confirmed and evaluated for Credit checks

Just checking if there is a parameter that can be enabled within D365 FO to ensure only confirmed sales orders/sales order lines can create direct delivery POs. As currently a PO can be created to the supplier even if the customer has overdues/exceeded there credit limit. 
 
I was reading online and came across this for AX: Credit Limit and Direct Deliveries (dynamics.com)
It appears customization is required, but wanted to check if anything had improved with the standard functionality within D365 FO ?
