I have a user who is unable to open any attachments within AX when the click on the Attachment button. There are attachments ti be open but nothing happens when they click on the button. Any advise appreciated.

Can you tell if the user was able to open these attachments before? Are other users also having this issue or not? Where are the attachments stored? Is the user having access to the file location? Is the user having the correct security permissions in AX 2012?

Thank you. New user so first time trying. No other user reported the issue. Permissions are fine. Need to check if she can access the file location but Im not sure where they are stored - how do I find out? Thanks again.
You can check the document types which location is used for storing the files.
Thank you for the reply. Just to let you now I managed to sort it. Either it was done by clearing User Data or un-checking and then re-checking 'Show document attachment button' which is found in File > Options > Status bar.
