Workflow Recurrence Set up is not working in D365

Hi All,

In D365, I have configured the workflow batch job.

For Workflow line Items batch & message processing - Recurrence set up done for 1 min with no end date.

For Workflow due date processing - Recurrence set up done for 1 hr. with no end date.

But, workflow batch job is running every 30 mins only and it's not running for every 1 min as per recurrence set up.

I have deleted the batch job and tried to configure multiple times. But, result is same.

Please throw your valuable ideas!

Thanks,

    Hi Muthusamy,

Can you possibly share a screenshot of the settings? You are now talking about three batch jobs. Is the standard workflow message processing batch job incorrect in your environment or the line item workflow. During the 30 minutes, what is the status of the batch job then? Is it in executing state or waiting?

    Hi Andre,

    Thanks for your response.

I have configured standard batch job only. Workflow status is "waiting" and its changed as "executing" during execution time (every 30 mins).

Workflow line Items Batch is configured and recurrence set up is done for 1 minute. Workflow should execute for every 1 minute. But, its executing once for 30 mins gap.

Screen shot is attached for your reference.

    Hi Muthusamy,

Can you check how long the batch is actually running every time? Is it running for 1 or 2 minutes or about 28 till 30 minutes? In the past I have seen the workflow batch running for hours due to some performance issues.

    Hi Andre,

Its taking 4 mins or sometime 5 to 10 mins.

Actually, we have done customer workflows and it was working fine in AX2012. Now, we migrated the same to D365. Is there any changes we need to do in D365?

    Thanks,

    Hi Muthusamy,

I don't have any idea about the customizations or configurations you have done for this workflow. I cannot say what needs to be changed. Can you tell more about the customizations and workflow configuration? What (automated) steps are used in the configuration?
