Transaction date changes in General journal lines to transaction date in last line.

I create a general journal having multiple lines. Each line with different transaction. I did not post the journal. When I closed the journal lines and open again later, I found that transaction date in all lines have changed to transaction date of the last line.

Please advise why it happened so. How to avoid it.

    Have you posted all lines as a single so-called split posting voucher? Can you share a screenshot of your voucher?

    Hi,

    That is actually what I expected.

    All lines are included in a single voucher.

    That is why you see the date change because a voucher can only have a single posting date.

    There must have gone something wrong when you entered the lines.

    To fix this you might have to reenter them if you need to post your lines on different days.

    What is the setup, on the Journal name used for this journal for number sequence?

    Single Voucner / with balance / with dates?

    In your case it needs to be set to be dependent on balance.

    as Ludwig said, so this normal if you use setup journal voucher in connection with balance , you can use a manual voucher to skip this issue
