    Hi Amanson,

Where are you changing the state of opportunity; and seeing the account stage?

Also, can you let me know what version of Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System you are using?

    For example, 2.0.2023.

It is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Versión 1710 (9.2.21023.135) online

Comercials change the state of oportunity and need  automatic Stage account chage.

    Thanks Todd

    Hi Amanson,

AS you mentioned, “if the state of opportunity changes to Quote change account stage to selling”.

    1. The account stage is one BPF stage? So the BPF is on opportunity entity or account entity? Is it custom?
    2. I also can’t find ‘Quote’ value in opportunity status field, it is also customized value?
    3. You want to change BPF stage when opportunity status change, right?

Can you give me a detailed answer to the above question? It would be good to attach relevant screenshots (Note:screenshots should not contain private data).

    Regards,

    Leah Ju

I think it is a custom version of Dynamic sales. What is required is that when the opportunity status changes, the account statement field should be changed. For example: Closed Win must change the account status to Customer

    Hi Amanson,

In fact, my OOB account and opportunity form are different from screenshot you providesd.

But that's not important, I've got your point.

The account and opportunity ia 1:N relationship, what you need is to change the parent account's fields when the child opportunity status changes, right?

You can go Settings > Process to create workflow in opportunity to achieve it.

    pastedimage1616380652236v1.png

    1.Set trigger and scope.

    pastedimage1616380830733v2.png

    2.Add steps.

    (1)Check condition.

you can set opportunity status equal to value as you need.

    pastedimage1616381144892v3.png

    (2)Update Records.

Under condition, you can do update operation, click 'Set Properties' to open dialog to fill value you need in the field of the account.

(3)If you have other condition and update account based on the condition, you can add 'Condition Branch' step.

    pastedimage1616381390387v5.png

You can then do the same operations as in the previous steps?

    (4)Save and Active it.
