Importing JE's in Dynamics 365 for Financials

This morning I held a webinar on Dynamics 365 and was asked how Journal Entries can be imported into Dynamics 365 for Financials, e.g. SmartConnect with Dynamics GP. Anyone know if there is functionality to import transactions into Dynamics 365 for Financials? Too my knowledge there isn't a tool available yet for doing this.

    I heard from the guys at eOne today that they are almost finished with the Dynamics 365 for Financials connector for SmartConnect and will release it in the next few weeks.

    That's good info from Brian! Thanks for sharing!

    There is not presently an integration tool build into Dynamics 365 for Financials which will allow you to import Journal Entries or similar data. Theoretically, you could create a custom ODATA endpoint for the page you wish to interface with. These custom ODATA4 endpoints are read/write capable.
