Analysis Cubes

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi, I have successfully installed Analysis Cubes on our server. We run GP 2015 r2 and SQL Server 2012 SP3.

However, when I try and populate the data warehouse running a the scheduled job created during the install, it fails with the error:

SQL Server Scheduled Job 'plutus\gp_Dynamics GP Analysis Cubes' (0xC2CD7B2BF35211458D404A7B75B9A383) - Status: Failed - Invoked on: 2016-02-26 10:42:01 - Message: The job failed.  The Job was invoked by User VTCT\dunderwood.  The last step to run was step 1 (DynamicsGPWarehouse\DynamicsGP_VTCTL_to_DynamicsGPWarehouse_Package_Master).  The job was requested to start at step 1 (DynamicsGPWarehouse\DynamicsGP_VTCTL_to_DynamicsGPWarehouse_Package_Master).

I'd be grateful for any pointers if people have come across this?

Thanks.

Please disregard, I solved the issue. I hadn't correctly Configure the SSIS service to use a named instance which is detailed in the guidance. Thanks.
