Dynamics GP Sales Forecasting Freezing

Hi:
 
When I try to pull up a forecast in the Manufacturing Sales Forecasting window, GP freezes.
 
Why and how can I fix this, other than by waiting?

    Is this something that used to work and now isn't working?  (If so, any ideas on what changed?) 

    If you do let it run long enough, does it complete?  (If so, running a SQL Profile to see what is taking so long may provide some insight.)

    Does it happen on all workstations?  What about when GP is launched directly from the SQL Server (if GP is installed there)?

    This is the first time that I have used it.  The forecast contains 1,530 records and was imported via Table Import.
     
    I have let it run, for almost five minutes, and the forecast is still frozen.
     
    I only use the GP "RDS" server.

    Following Table Import, did you run Check Links and/or other GP maintenance to validate the data after import?  (Since Table Import is a physical table-level import, related tables may also require imports.)

    I recommend thoroughly testing all imports/maintenance in a test company prior to attempting in production.
