    Hi,

Please find a screenshot of the problem attached. The problem is occurring on the first time the window is opened and try to use the scroll buttons example lot numbers 201313231 and 31122016 are not associated with this item. If I close this window and open again on the same item the lot number will be uploaded successfully as it should.

    Thanks and regards,

I agree with Leslie on this one, it would seem very strange, and check the Lot Table is correct.

As Peter suggested could you provide a screenshot of the Sales Lot Entry Screen showing all the Lot Numbers.

    Thanks,

    Mick

    Hi,

I haven't heard of this from any of my clients, so I do not think it is a bug. My next plan of attack would be to run Check Links and then the reconcile utility. Of course, make a backup before doing so. I can't think of a reason why this would be happening, but perhaps the utilities will shock it back into shape. The query that runs when you hit the lookup button under Lots should first create a range that includes only the item number you selected. That said, I would fire up Studio Manager and look at the IV00300 table (Lot Number Master), and see if everything looks OK. That's about all I can think of right now.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Hi,

Yes, this problem is happening when we did the upgrade and is being experienced for each user on both companies.

The items that have lots assigned to them are behaving this way.

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Alex

    Hi,

I have GP 2015R2 and am not experiencing that problem. Has your system always had this problem. Have you upgraded lately? If yes, did the problem start with the upgrade? Are all lot numbered items behaving this way? Is it the same for every user and company?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Hi Alex,

I hope you have found a solution so far. I have a question. You state "when inputting an item which contains sales/lots for some reason I am having all the lot number in the system listed and not just the lot number for that item only"

You are have a list of all Lot numbers and I am assuming that the list is long. And at that point you have to choose lot number that satisfies your desired item you are inputting. The filed can only take one number correct?

My assessment is that you maybe entering a non-existent lot number and system is showing all the available to choose correct lot from. Almost similar to when you are selecting an item and it doesn't exist, GP shows you the list of ALL items and scrolls you down to next smallest number from where the item would lie if it was existing.  ie.  Scrolls to  Item 12399776   if you were looking for item 12399782  and the list only has item 12399732  then 12399776 then 12399791, etc
