How To Handle Overpayments in BC

(0) ShareShare

Hi,

Our customer has overpaid their invoice by only 10p but it could be more next time.

How should we handle this in BC?

We are using the Payment Journal to apply the amount that we get in from the bank against the Invoice.

Any amount above the invoice amount is going to 10500 (Interest Income). Ideally, we'd live to apply the whole amount against the invoice, or put any overpayments into a suspense account.

Ani ideas?

Thanks, Ian

    Hi Ian,

Have you looked at Payment Tolerances:

    Kind regards,
