    Hello Mahesh,

Probably what happened when you changed the user in AD, is that the GUID also changed. And since the GUID changed in AD, it's not the same that's in CRM DB.

You can try and go to that user configuration and check if the domain/user is correct and force it again.

Besides that, you may need something like what in the link below:

    www.magnetismsolutions.com/.../dynamics-crm---workaround-for-access-issues-with-deleted-ad-user

Keep in mind that whatever changes you make you always should have a proper backup.

In case everything fails, probably the best approach is to open a support case with Microsoft.

    Best regards

    Hi Hugo,

It is happening for only one user. Not for all the users and our it admin recently changed the username for that particular user. Could you please let us know the further steps to be followed in the CRM after updating the user name.

    Hello Mahesh,

Well, this message "Exception message: Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx)." is quite weird.

Did you made any changes on your environment, and more precisely, on that user, so it could lead to this? on CRM or AD?

Do that happens only with a precise account or with all accounts?

    Best regards
