A site has had 10-15 GP 2015 client machines for years, working well. The first Windows 10 laptop is in, and wired or wireless, it alone disconnects and freezes irregularly, multiple timesper day. Power management has been configured for continuous connectivity and performance, though this has not been necessary on the other clients. Any ideas?

Is this a freeze during a period of user inactivity or seemingly random?
Full client install on the local machine? If so Tim's suggestion about running a continuous ping to the SQL server is a good test.

Sounds like a machine or infrastructure issue.
Try simple things like running continuous pings from the machine to see if they drop at same time GP client does.
See if any group policy activity is going on around that time or any other clues in machine activity logs.
Change drivers for the networking.
I think its the usual sort of diagnostic path, it may take time to narrow it down.
We've had one specific machine dropping connection, had to rebuild it as it defeated analysis!
