Dynamics 365 v8.2 Solution missing component msdyn_wallsavedqueryusersettings

Posted on by 390

I been looking for this issue and can't find any information, I know that this entity is a CRM base entity ( crmbaseentity ) and will not show in the list of entities that I can add to the solution, any ideas how to fix this issue?

The User (systemuser) entity is included in the solution

Thanks, everyone for your fast response! I found the solution for the issue!

I had to remove the User entity (systemusers) and re-added to the solution, after that process that warning message will not show.

The problem context was that I was using the SDK to export a solution using my PowerShell PSSnapin and was using the value for target version as 8.2, the solution originally was created with the target-version as 8.1, so changing the target version allow the ExportSolutionRequest command to finish correctly , also had to extend the timeout value to accommodate for a large solution

So far I can automate the export and import using my PowerShell tools

    Hi,

Seems Microsoft added this entity in new release which is not exists in your solution .

I would suggest try to check related component for this entity in online environment and remove those component from your solution and then import. This is because you are importing managed solution and it will not overrite until existing component does not match.

If it's does not help raise a ticket to Microsoft.

    Hi Abe,

This is not an error, but actually a warning.

As long as the target environment contains the ActivityFeeds solution, you should be able to import it without issues.

It might be a Microsoft bug related to the current release that you have installed of Dynamics 365. I have not personally seen this error.

What version of Dynamics are you on?

Did you get any errors during the re-import into your target environment?

Did this warning prevent you from exporting the solution in anyway?

That would be the test for you.

    Hope this helps.
