GP 2012 Budget Imports and Reporting

We have a client currently doing their budgets in Excel, exporting from GP, filling in the Excel spreadsheet and importing back into GP. This process of adding the monthly revenue and expenses into each sites Excel report is time consuming and till this year has not been very analytical.　 They are looking to change the process and use a different model for the 2015 budget.　 They have looked at Budget Maestro. What do people thing of this product and are there any others out there?

    Super idea.    I have also taken the GP Excel Template and built a BI360 directly and then it is just run and publish and into GP.

    And for those that don't have Version 4.5, our clients just paste from their BI360 template into the GP Excel template to upload.

    Version 4.5 of BI360 has direct Writeback from Web Forms designed in Excel into GP.   BI360 will also have ETL tools from Planning Budgeting into GP in the near future.

    We have always used BI 360 for budget reports but never thought of using it to get Budget data into GP. Let me see if that is possible. At the very least we could use Excel to get the data in and BI 360 to do budget reports and forecasting.

    Have been looking into the Prophix budgeting and reporting, deFacto, and of course Solver's BI360.  All have the ability to do HR/Capital Expenditures, Marketing Budgets etc and assign them out to the users to be completed.  All are Multicurrency Capable and Analytical Accounting Capable.  Tired of playing with MR and all it's hickups
