ANDROID APP FAIL WITH SAMSUNG TABLETS

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello everyone. We have installed the CU23 nav package from Microsoft Dynamics NAV2016. We work with a Windows 2012 server and MS SQL Server 2016. We work with samsung brand tablets that integrate the operating system android 5.02, 7.01, 7.1.1 When you access sales offers or sales orders and try to edit them, you stop seeing the contents of the fields already filled in the order. Please, someone can help me with this problem that has happened to you. Thank you very much in advance, greetings.

Good, We work with the NAV 2016 version, but I guess the problem will be similar to mine. The solution we have applied to this problem has been to perform an uninstall of the updates or the application if the Google Chrome applications and also the Webview app. One tip is that you disable the automatic update in case you do not allow it to be uninstalled. Greetings and luck.

RE: ANDROID APP FAIL WITH SAMSUNG TABLETS

I have a user on NAV 2018 who is also experiencing problems when using a Samsung tablet. When he is trying to enter new lines on a sales quote the system is working very slowly and there is a delay when entering text. It is not an internet performance issue, because other applications on the tablet works fine both when entering text and searching the internet. Other users on the same NAV database is using Ipads, and they do not experience these problems. JGR-SG, did you find a solution for your problem with NAV and Samsung tablets?
