Inventory valuation report: opening and closing quantities are zero for all item (in HQ report and at store level report too)

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I am working on a store I set up added few months ago, using rms 2.0.2000. When I run Inventory valuation report in HQ, I have correct opening and closing quantities for all stores (hq and others store: rms 2.0.2007) except the last one (rms 2.0.2000). It shows 0 for all its items in opening and closing quantities columns. I thought that it may be because of the missing hotfix(to get 2.0.2007), but I tried to run the report at store level and it gave me same result. the other reports related to tiems (quantity list, dispareancy quantities ...) are correct. All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

The information at HQ should be pristine, if there is a discrepancy at the store level then that database is damaged and you do not have any options other than exporting a replacement database with the correct quantities. This is the KB article that explains the process. support.microsoft.com/.../909831 I don't recommend you spend any additional time or effort trying to correct anything at the store level.  The current version of RMS is 2.0.2020 I would recommend applying that hotfix to all machines, then proceed with this KB so that you have covered all of your bases and you are current.

    I hope this helps you.
