Filtering Opportunity View with Sales Stage

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I've added a new Stage and Stage Category between the stock stages of "Develop" and "Propose".  The new item is named "Quote" as seen here:

The Processes have been updated as shown, and changes have been published

I'm building an Opportunity View for a dashboard that will filter on Sales Stage, showing just those opportunities in this new "Quote" stage.  The trouble is that this new value isn't available as an option in the View Editor.  I can't figure out what I'm missing.  Help would be very much appreciated!!

Again, thanks!!

EDIT:  The filter criteria is obscured by the Select Values dialog.  Providing it here for reference...

    Hi,

Have you added this new stage value to stage category which is a global option set?

You could also go through the link below for knowing what all we should do to add a new stage to business process flow.

I think you could also use custom fields to store Business Process Stage.

    Hope this helps you.

    Hello,

Try using the Stage Category field from the related entity Process Stage as filter:

So when your setting up the filter criteria, you see the opportunity fields on top of the list. Below that is the list of related entities to opportunity. Select Process Stage (Process Stage) and then Stage Category.

You can filter by pipeline phase.

Check the name of pipeline phase on 'sales pipeline' chart of opportunities and build your query around that
