Upgraded to Dynamics 365 CRM V9: emails not sending (but say they are sent) since upgrade

The production environment for Dynamics 2016 CRM was upgrade to Dynamics V9 recently.

After the upgrade, we attempted to send an email to users in and out of the system.  Dynamics says the email was sent.

Emails are not received by CRM users or external users.

This has been tested and has been consistent since the upgrade.

List of emails sent from Rashida, some to herself, some she is CCed in, but not incoming emails from the emails labeled sent:

    Issue was resolved by user by switching form the Edge Browser to Chrome.  Not sure why a browser would impact the orgs ability to send emails, but the client is happy to move away from the Edge browser.
