How to filter the records in lookup search for a SubGrid.
for example: i am on an entity 'language' and i have a SubGrid for dialect on language entity where language to dialect is 1:n relationship.
I want that in SubGrid add existing lookup only filtered dialects records come that are having the same language.
Please help

here the SubGrid for dialects is on language entity and the parent entity is an another entity i.e., Master Language so what i want is in the add existing lookup of Sub Grid only those dialects should come which has the Master Language name same as the Language Name .
I am not able to understand the requirement here. You are on language entity(parent) where you have a subgrid of dialect (child 1:N). Now, if the dialects are already having the language as the current language then those records are already associated and those should be visible in the subgrid already. However, the lookup view available with the subgrid is the quick find view and I don't think you will be able to apply a filter based on a dynamic value from parent entity.
