RM Multicurrency Staements

Posted on by 5,080

I have edited the Multicurrency Statement to show current transaction amount...but it is showing in  our functional currency and I need it to show in the customers currency.

The staements in GP are extremely confusing for our customer and we would like to print only what is due??

Is there not a way?

Thanks Justin, your coding just perfectly fine.

please allow me to ask you these stupid question, can i know where did you study these?

Is there anywhere I can at least have some clue or ideas to know what to use/apply to make all these work? (despite i will be doing the testing for sure)

    thank you for sharing!

Hey there Justin...that worked great although I cannot seem to set the format to as it errors out

"formats can only be set on fields with a data type of integer"

I used currency index instead ;))

    Thank you for your help!!

    Hi Tami,

In regards to the first portion of your question (Showing the current trx amount in terms of originating currency), you'll need to create a table relationship between RM_Statements_TRX_Temp and Multicurrency Receivables Transactions using Key 1.

Then link the Multicurrency Receivables Transactions to your statement.

Lastly, pull out the "Originating Current Trx Amount" into the body of the report.

(And you'll probably want to assign it a "Format Field" of

"RM Statements Transactions Temp - Currency ID" so that it prints with the right currency symbol/format).

    Thanks,

    Justin
