Synchronize Auto Number between two databases (CDS)

Hi

meanwhile there is the possibility in Dynamics to generate autonumber with OOB. This is good :) (but only in the new powerapps designer, not on the classic designer for dynamics - Why Microsoft :) ??)

I have a request to synchronize the autonumber-value from account entit between two different dynamics databases (and two different tenants). I know i can make a web service with custom autonumber generating connected to the two CDS, but maybe is there OOB Way? I have no experience with data connections or with the custom connectors in powerapps. I must have unique common number range for both environments.

Thank you in advance

    Hello,

Here is the way I see with no-code involved:

    1. In one of environments create the dummy entity with autonumber field and configure that autonumber the way you need.

    2. Create the flow for both of environments that will do following on create of account:

    - create the "dummy" record in the environment from point 1 and get the value of autogenerated field

    - update account with that value

This customization should cover you requirement.
