Hi, I have a problem after importing a solution to a production env. with only 3 security roles components that I have customized on a sandbox env. , there is a conflict and a strange behavior happened between the applied security roles.
please, How can I solve this ?
Hi JRCummings,
The column security is enabled for the msdyn_totalamount column on the msdyn_workorder table.
Navigate to the Field security profiles
You can use existing profiles or create a new one for the user who is getting the error
For more details:
Hello I am getting a similar message with Field Security Roles:
User with ID b8253c56-3812-ec11-b6e6-000d3a4e0d98 does not have Create permissions for the msdyn_totalamount attribute in the msdyn_workorder entity. Count secured attributes in entity 11. User has 6 secured attribute privileges. callerAp=null
I saw some different in other users with roles that this user who can't convert to a work order, but once I made the roles mirror each other, the user is still receiving the same message.
Glad the issue is resolved! There are many security privileges granted through the out of the box Field Service security roles so I would do a thorough review to make sure those privileges are all present on your customized roles. Best practice is to clone the FS security roles (if you don't want to use the OOB roles) as a starting point and then modify and apply to your users so you don't miss anything. Keep in mind you can link multiple security profiles to a user so you can have a field service security role and other roles as well if it makes management easier for you
Thanks , that worked for me
I'd suggest checking two things:
1. User's access on work order?
2. Field security profiles assigned to the user?
