Export Import security roles

Hi community,

I have created a security role in the child business unit in my DEV, when i tried to add it by clicking Add existing button in my patch solution it errored out displaying the message that root component is missing.

Can anyone help how to overcome this error?

Hi Maneesh Sharma ,

Make sure you have added the root components to the patch solution. Also, any dependencies missing in the solution which may cause the issue.

Hi,

You can not move child Business Unit Security roles via solution.

Because roles which exist in root business unit can only be move through solution as described in below link:
